Forty Shades of Green

St Patrick's Day, March 17th heralds the celebration of all things Irish.

It is a traditional custom dating back to the 17th century, when the wearing of green is common place and large quantities of Guinness are consumed.

There are parades, shamrocks and parties. This celebration is not just felt in Ireland, but also Canada, Russia, Japan, Malaysia, Korea, UK and even on the International Space Station.
